I suck at blogging

In my personal opinion one should not keep a blog unless they are willing to update it regularly. As a person who is often bored at work, reading blogs, I get very frustrated by people who do not update. I want to be entertained damnit!
Well, I am a hypocrite. Not that I think this thing is entertaining BUT I should at least have some semblance of a pattern. Not so much. I have many excuses. All are lame.
All except ONE!
I HAVE FOUND A DIRECTOR! And I’m in love with her a little bit. It took two weeks of meeting with people, all of whom were wonderful, and having my ego stroked but I have settled on one. (Five directors stand before me, but only one will continue on in the hopes of MY NEXT TOP DIRECTOR*.) Everyone I met with would have done a good job with the show which meant I was cursed with too much of a good thing. Woe is me! My life is so hard.
So yeah, this ball is actually rolling! This is actually going to happen! I am so ecstatic that I use lots and lots of exclamation marks!!!
So now I need to find a cast that I will love just as much, if not more, than my director. And, you know, fundraising and logistics and all that shit. And now maybe my life will calm down some and I can resume posting about how I am SO excited for the golden compass trailer but SO scared but SO excited. And I have decided that I need to reread the book because it really was my narnia in 5th grade.
So yeah, MAY THE WORLD BE FILLED WITH KITTENS.

*this is probably the ONLY time in my life I will every be able to use ANTM as a metaphor. Be excited that you got to bear witness.

Today was a very exciting day in the life! Not only did I have my first day working at Saks Fifth Avenue BUT also my play "BANG/whimper" was accepted to the New York Fringe.
